Quiet luxury in a well connected location

Pros: The place is gorgeous - the pictures do not do it justice, it’s so spacious. Vagelis had left pool toys for us, a bunch of toys and playmats for our children, and a thoughtful basket of fruit and immediate essentials which was lovely. The pool was heated and well positioned to catch the sun throughout the day, couches comfortable, plenty of books to read, towels available, and the TV was connected to all the apps. The hand-drawn map in the kitchen showed directions and local amenities. Vagelis was friendly, in close contact and popped by discretely to water the plants and clean the pool filter during the week. A bus stop right outside the house takes you down to Agii Apostoli, and also into Chania old town - so convenient.

Cons: As others mentioned, the road out front can be a bit noisy in the evenings - not super busy but some people really rev their engines to speed past. But we had a 3 month old and a toddler with us and neither were woken by the noise.

Pros: Excellent accommodation, great location, very close to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Easy access to the beach. Everything was perfect!!!
