A great place
Pros: It was perfect. The location is great. In the middle way between Chania and Rethymnon near Georgioupoli, which is a great village. You need a car to get there. You get the whole facility to yourself. It is in green cultivated garden. A big pool which we really liked and the house is equipped with everything you can think of. Last, the owners are supper nice, their hospitality is extraordinary. I truly recommend.

A little piece of heaven, beautifully cared for house and gardens with the most generous hosts.
Pros: Beautiful location, best pool we’ve ever had in a holiday home and amazing outdoor areas. Loved the outdoor cooking area with bbq and pizza oven and picking fruit from the trees. Comfortable and homely interior, well equipped with bug screens on the windows and a/c. It’s not clear on photos, but the mezzanine is part of the master bedroom and not above any communal living space, which is perfect. Peaceful amongst the olive groves. The most generous and lovely hosts! Dinner cooking in the oven when we arrived and a fridge full of food - an amazing way to start a holiday! All the homemade treats and gifts when they came to clean the pool. They couldn’t have done more to make it an amazing stay. Great taverna a 15 minute walk away. Naming all the cats was fun!! Good location to explore all that Crete has to offer.

Fantastic Villa!
Pros: Villa Kalamitsi is in the middle of the nature. The place is beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The villa is spacious and very clean. The house has three cozy bedrooms and a living room. Great kitchen, there is absolutely everything you ever need. The yard areas are beautiful with outdoor barbecues. A gem of a stunning large swimming pool, you really can swim there. Special thanks to our hosts, Dina and Pantelis. They took exceptionally good care of us. (Incredible dinner and surprises in the fridge) Thank You! As animal lovers, we really enjoyed the numerous cats, which were fun to watch. The big boss of the house, Trufa the dog, was friendly and kept us company. We really enjoyed our stay and lazy days in this wonderful place. We absolutely recommend Villa Kalamitsi.

Pros: We spent a wonderful vacation at Villa Kalamitsi. We found everything we expected there, most importantly peace and privacy. On hot days you can find refreshment in the beautiful and clean swimming pool. A short distance away (about 10 minutes by car) is the charming town of Jeorjupoli, where you can find lovely restaurants and a long sandy beach. The owners of the house are very hospitable, we were very pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the delicious dinner and the well-stocked refrigerator :) We recommend staying at Villa Kalamitsi wholeheartedly.

A lovely villa in a beuatiful location - we plan to return in 2024
Pros: It is evident that the owners of this villa have worked hard since 2006 to create a wonderful home and lovely place to have a holiday. The attention to detail reminds me of our own home. Gina and her husband could not have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Three lovely bedrooms, very spacious living area, beautiful pool and seperate barbeque areas. The resident dog and cats were friendly and unintrusive. Everywhere was very clean and the double glazed doors and windows included insect screnes which kept us mostquito free at night.
Cons: We liked everything. It is worth noting that a physically disabled person might find the stairs from the parking area to the front door of the villa difficult. The drive from the main road to the villa is a little bumpy in places but we soon got used to it.

Traumhafter Urlaub im (Katzen)Paradies
Pros: Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem erreicht man in wenigen Minuten Supermärkte, Restaurants und wundervolle Strände. Das Gelände ist sehr gepflegt und überall gibt es blühende Pflanzen. Der Pool ist ein absolutes Highlight. Er ist riesengroß, hat eine angenehme Temperatur und lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Auch gibt es viele Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Villa selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet, alles passt perfekt zusammen. Die Ausstattung ist top. Was die Villa noch so außergewöhnlich macht sind die vielen süßen verschmusten Katzen. Ein echtes Paradies für Katzenliebhaber! Auch unsere Gastgeber Dina und Pantelis haben mit ihrer hilfsbereiten, herzlichen und fürsorglichen Art dafür gesorgt, dass wir einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbringen konnten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben dort eine unvergesslich tolle Zeit verbracht. Gerne wären wir noch länger geblieben.

Pros: It’s such a peaceful and welcoming place, with a beautiful pool, a lovely yard, and a cozy barbecue area. But what truly made our stay special were the wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond—when we arrived, a fridge full of food was already waiting for us, so we didn’t have to worry about shopping right away. Every detail was thought of, and everything not only met but truly exceeded our expectations!
Cons: Naturally, as with any place, there may be a few small imperfections, but nothing really worth mentioning. The location is both a strength and a limitation—it’s wonderfully peaceful and away from the city, but that also means having a car is necessary to get around comfortably.

Pros: La casa tiene todo lo que puedes pedir a un alojamiento alquilado...y más. Excepcional el trato, amabilidad y detalles de los anfitriones.
Cons: Por decir algo, la última parte del camino a la casa (menos de 1 km) es terreno sin asfaltar.

Außergewöhnlich!!!!!
Pros: Alles! Ein Traum! Wer seinen Urlaub im Paradies verbringen möchte, wird hier fündig: ruhig und doch zentral genug gelegen, schattig dank vieler Bäume, mit allem Komfort, den man sich wünschen kann, mit vielen verschmusten Katzen und vor allem unendlich herzlichen Gastgebern!!! Pantelis und Dina - haben hier ein wunderschönes kleines Paradies geschaffen, was sie mit Ihrer warmherzigen liebevollen umsorgenden Art vollkommen machen und wohin wir uns schon jetzt zu neu gewonnenen Freunden zurücksehnen! Tausend Dank von uns! Ihr habt uns Glück geschenkt, von dem wir noch ewig zehren können ;) und kommen so bald als möglich wieder!
