Chania's Diamond Villas - Aqua Bliss with Private Pools

It was perfect. A beautiful, relaxing stay in a very private villa.

Pros: This beautiful villa is situated in a quiet location with its own private pool. It had 3 double A/C rooms which fitted our family perfectly. It’s very well equipped with everything we needed as a family. The local village with 2 small supermarkets and several lovely tavernas was only a short 10 minute walk away. We were made to feel very welcome by the family hosts Niki and Antonis. We’d love to visit again.

Cretian lifestyle experiment

Pros: The villa is the smaller of the 3 on the site and priced much lower as a consequence. It was very nice at the edge of the olive trees. With a pool and next to the landlords house who was very helpful when we had questions. There are 3 bedrooms 2 have 2 singles and one double. All have air con. Parking and access was easy. The kitchen had all the essential equipment needed.the pool is a above ground one but totally great for cooling off! Location was close to the village with all you need for supplies and evening food. The local beach town of almyrida and kalves are close by and great for swimming with easy parking if you get there early.

Cons: We only stayed for 13 days! I was just getting into the Mediterranean life when we had to come back.

The most gracious hosts you could ask for!

Pros: The hosts were amazing - they couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great holiday. They would bring is home grown gifts from the grounds and offered lifts when needed. They even brought us pizza on our arrival as we got there so late! The house was fantastic, spacious and exceptionally clean. Great outdoor area , pool and extra terraces and balconies with beautiful sunsets. The villa is less than 10 minutes walk to the local village with a small shop (for essentials) and 2/3 lovely tavernas and a 10 minute taxi journey to almyrida with lots of restaurants, shops and cocktail bars, beautiful beach with Crystal clear water! We had a fantastic time!

Cons: We had issues with the WiFi throughout the stay. Our hosts were helpful in trying to fix the issue but unfortunately the connection was intermittent throughout the stay.

Pros: The property was clean, spacious, well equipped and ideal for our family of 4 (but would comfortably sleep 6)Lovely quiet location near village with shops and tavernas. Good location for exploring- family friendly beaches and restaurants a short drive away. Views across the valley when waking up was worth the stay alone. Pool and outdoor cooking facilities were really good - as was the eating and seating places. Air conditioning in bedrooms made sleeping easier. Couldn’t recommend the villa or host highly enough. We will definitely return. The host ensured that the WiFi was working for the whole of our stay. House was also set up for families with younger children as all stairs had stair gates.

Amazing stay with a fabulous host

Pros: We booked the two houses which were next to each other. Very clean and good facilities. The pools were great and views from the balconies were excellent. The village (which is very pretty) is walking distance with top quality tavernas. Lots to do in the area with a lovely local beach (about 10 minutes in the car). The host was fantastic! Gave us a tour of the garden and arranged for pizza one night (and sound system). Could not have asked for a more helpful or kind person.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The villas are located in a picturesque valley, close to small villages, in addition, by car you can very quickly reach Almyrida, where you will find a gorgeous beach and many attractive taverns. The villa in which we lived fully met our expectations: a large stone house, as we found out - originally built by the owner for his children, contains many secluded corners where you can retire and enjoy time, large balconies with beautiful landscapes only add zest and comfort to this place. In addition - you have a cool area for barbecues, walks with children and a plus a swimming pool! Perhaps the house lacked some simple essentials, but - Antonis and his son are always ready to help you, they can order and bring you food from the tavern or take you to the beach if you do not have a car - many thanks to them for their hospitality! a chic place for a secluded vacation.

Pros: We booked both villas for 3 families (10 people in total) in July. The villas are next-door to each other and are ideal for this size of group as there are plenty indoor and outdoor spaces. Outdoors there were 2 pools with many lovely different areas to relax in and also dining tables for eating outdoors. The location was excellent. The villas are in the countryside away from other buildings, have fantastic views and are only ten minutes walk away from the beautiful local village of Gavalohori where there are 3 excellent tavernas, 2 good mini markets and a local pottery. Our hosts Antonis, Niki and family were lovely and made us feel very welcome bringing us fruit, avocados and their own wonderful olive oil. They answered any questions quickly and nothing was any bother to fix. The villas are well situated for visiting other villages and towns in Crete. We all enjoyed our stay there very much.

belles vacances ! beaucoup de bons souvenirs

Pros: Nous avons eu un super accueil malgré l heure tardive de notre arrivée. Grand merci pour la confiture le pain et l huile d olive. et surtout pour les recommandations pour passer de super vacances en famille. on peut descendre au village à pied. il y a un petit supermarché pour depanner et les 3 restaurants sont très bons. La maison a des moustiquaires aux fenêtres. la piscine est très propre. l endroit est magnifique et très calme.

Cons: rien. juste pour information le canapé lit de 2 personnes du 2e etage est plutot fait pour des jeunes enfants.
