Amazing stay close to the centre, with private pool

Pros: Mrs Martha came to welcome us upon arrival. She gave us a tour, insightful tips and local recommendations. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine. In each room, there were shower towels, pool towels, bathrobes and slippers for 2. Mrs Martha is always available and answers within the hour. The house is old and full of character. There are beautiful paintings inside and you can tell the house has a soul, which is a welcoming change from the modern buildings we are used to. There’s a lovely porch up front and a garden with the pool in the back. There are plants everywhere which creates a beautiful scenery. The pool is cleaned every 2 days. It’s a short 10-15 min walk from Chania centre (old town and port), there are supermarkets 5 mins walk from the Villa (some open 24/7). You will experience living among the locals! The closest beach is 5 km away, Platanias is 10 km away - we recommend renting a car in the town centre (although there seems to be a good bus network).

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect for us!

Lovely place.

Pros: Family home, large and comfortable. Garden and pool were lovely. An Oasis.

Cons: Some rooms/furnishings smelt of smoke (bedroom curtains)

Pros: Hosts were very responsive to our requests (i.e. replace coffee machine, bring more coffee pods) Great location - easy to walk to old port.

Cons: The yard area around the pool could have been a bit tidier.

Brilliant place, brilliant host.

Pros: A beautiful town house/villa near to the heart of Chania, yet boasting a private pool, a tranquil veranda and a generous host in Martha. The property is elegantly furnished, spacious and perfectly equipped for a family stay. The location allows an easy walk into the old town and the Harbour, and parking outside is nearly always available. Guest wi-fi is fast and everywhere. The kitchen is very well-appointed.

Cons: Nothing. All excellent.

Spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable house very close to local ameneties and within walking distance of Chania

Pros: Spacious and comfortable accommodation within walking distance of the centre of Chania and a short distance from local shops, bars and restaurants.

Cons: There were not enough outside seats/sun beds for 6 guests. There were 3 comfortable double beds but as we were 2 couples and 2 teenagers, it would have been useful to have had two single beds or a camp bed for use in the lounge.

This is a very nice place for a long stay, confortable and large with free parking in front of the house

Pros: The home is very large, and has a private pool. We were two adults traveling with two older teens and it was nice to have space. Each kids had a bed and there are two bathrooms !

Cons: It is not walking distance to the beautiful old streets of Chania

Ihana keidas

Pros: Todella tilavat ja avarat huoneet, hyvät sängyt ja KAIKKI tarvittavat mukavuudet. Kaappitilaa todella paljon. Olemme erittäin tyytyväisiä. Meillä oli ihana loma. Talo on hyvällä, rauhallisella paikalla, keskustaan ja rannalle lyhyt kävelymatka. Museot ja nähtävyydet myös kävelymatkan päässä.

Cons: Altaalle olisi ollut kiva päästä talon päädystä. Allas hieman kylmä, mutta silti uitiin paljon

Super ophold

Pros: Det var en super beliggenhed til centrum og værten var super flink og opfyldte vores ønsker. Alt var godt især op på 1 sal var dejligt. Haven og poolen var også dejlig, alt i alt en super ophold.

Cons: Vi havde et barn på 1år og der var ikke meget plads han kunne kravle/gå og det var lidt for farligt da der var udfordringer for ham så som trappe. Poolen blev ikke rengjort ikke en eneste gang i de dage vi var villaen, selvom manden kom og vandet planterne og aftalen var han skulle også rengøre poolen.

Pros: Well equipped kitchen, lovely welcome pack. Excellent outdoor space and pool. Good BBQ. Late check out was no problem and transfers arranged for us

Cons: Lounge sofas not so comfortable, blinds in upstairs bedroom let in some light
