Pros: This was by far the best hotel we ever visited. All the staff members were extremely kind and made us feel so welcome. Their service was amazing and the atmosphere of the hotel was very calm and peaceful. Beautiful interior. The breakfast was delicious and they also served a great spicy margarita :)

A wonderful, chilled oasis on the beach

Pros: What a wonderful stay - honestly, we couldn't have asked for better. Lovely people, who made our stay even better, and when our flight was cancelled, were so accommodating and helpful that I felt like crying! Rooms were clean with great amenities, including a hair dryer, beach towels, fridge, yoga mats and accessories, and a safe. The hotel was nice and quiet (anyone looking for wild nights may want to choose somewhere else) and we felt incredibly rested. Now for the important bit: food and drink! The breakfast everyday was fantastic and meant we could collapse on the beach happy and full, and the service was un-intrusive and fabulous. Cocktails were delicious, bar food was also incredible, and the location was ideal - lovely stretch of beach, nice bars and restaurants nearby. We highly recommend Koupes up the road for amazing dinners, as well as Kosmos (which comes with kittens!). Isola next door does very good sushi if you get tired of lamb and greek salads (not sure how!).

Pros: The location is very beautiful. The view from the room was magnificent, it was like being on a boat. The hotel building is beautifully blended into the beach. The service was outstanding. Everyday the breakfast had a new special apart from the regular selections. When you settle in one of the sunbeds of the hotel, your orders will be taken in less than five minutes and a fresh cold bottle of water will be brought. The hotel staff is extremely kind and they keep the friendliness - respecting privacy balance perfectly. We thank to Eleni, Maria Faidra, Aliona, Dimitris, Sotiris, Alex, Katerina, Zoi, Grini, Eri, Maria and Gabrel (also thanks to Andrie, the manager, for this extraordinary team). We want to come back as soon as possible.

Cons: I cannot provide any negative comments regarding the hotel. I may warn the future guests regarding the entire Crete: Some drivers may like speeding, please be careful when you cross streets. If you need a taxi, stick with the ones that your hotel provides. We were very happy with our airport transfer, which was arranged by the hotel.

Little boutique paradise.

Pros: We went back to the same place after last year. It is still amazing, people that work there are so nice and good and warm. Magical place - again - 3 star hotel with 5 star experience. We will be back again!

A great stay, made even better by great travel and restaurant advice from the knowledgeable staff

Pros: This is a small (8 rooms) boutique hotel with a high staff to guest ratio. Their magic ingredient is a level of personal service and attention to detail that we have not experienced anywhere else in all our years of travelling - genuinely friendly, relaxed and professional from all members of their team, whatever their role. Breakfasts are truly exceptional with an extensive choice of freshly prepared and cooked plates.

Cons: Amenities are a bit limited, a small well stocked bar, beautiful terrace and plenty of loungers - that's about it apart from the reception area. However given the size of the hotel, understandable. It doesn't occupy a big area and is literally a few steps down to the beach! Personally I would have appreciated a small pool as I'm not a big fan of sand and sea (nice to look at but too messy for me). However for beach devotees this is a perfect 10 lol.

Pros: The staff were so welcoming, friendly and professional. The hotel is right on the Aegean and the water was beautiful.

Absolutely Amazing stay

Pros: We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Theodore Boutique Hotel in Crete, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooms are stylish and modern, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a peaceful atmosphere. However, the true highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm and genuine hospitality. The team went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, often anticipating our requests before we even made them. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay special. If you're looking for the perfect combination of luxury, design, and top-notch service, the Theodore Boutique Hotel is a real gem. We highly recommend it!

3 star hotel with 5 star service

Pros: The hotel is perfect. Small one, adults only from this year (yay!), very nicely decorated. It was super clean, all amenities were there and replenished daily. The location is right on the beach, it is super quiet and there is a bar with snacks (which are amazing) and drinks. Breakfast was great, you get specials every day and a standard a-la-carte menu. Coffee was also great! Wifi worked pretty good, not super high speeds, but enough to stream Olympics :) But, what made a difference for us was the staff. They were so welcoming, warm, helpful and eager to talk and help us during our stay. Everyone was super nice, but we must mention Stella, Eleni and Giannis. Such nice people that genuinely want to help you in any way, or just chat. My wife and me are so happy that we chose this hotel, and we will for sure come back for this little piece of paradise in Crete.

Cons: Everything was perfect - do not hesitate to book this hotel.
