Olive Lemon Biophilic House & Lush Forest Garden

Pros: Everything. The place is beautiful, not just for the garden (which is gorgeous), but also for the wonderful taste in decoration, the peace, the coziness and the kindness of Manolis, that really made us feel at home. If you need a place to rest, or to do some trekking and get back to a deserved restful environment, this is THE SPOT.

Cons: There is nothing that is not great.

Pros: I stayed in the property for a couple of days in November and the accommodation was great ! I have much appreciated Manoli’s attention to detail, his hospitality and his genuine participation in all my needs (such es bus/taxi transportation, connections, recommendations etc.) his delicious homemade lemonade, but above all else his Humanity: the empathy & solidarity he showed me for the events of life made the difference.

Pros: Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was fantastic – modern, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. The garden and the surroundings made us feel completely relaxed and at peace. The host was extremely friendly, helpful, and just a genuinely great guy who provided us with great tips and made sure we felt comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. We can truly recommend this place to anyone and are very happy to give a full 10 out of 10 rating.

Pros: Everything. Manolis our host isn’t just a good host he’s an exceptional host, so generous, helpful and professional. Vamos is a lovely location with some nice villages nearby to visit. Olive Lemon House is stylish, extremely clean, comfortable fully equipped and in very quiet road in Vamos. The garden is truly amazing. Manolis gave us some great recommendations for places to visit which was so helpful. We stayed for two weeks in June.

Pros: Everything! It was so beautifully decorated! The host’s passion for detail and nature was visible everywhere! The garden outside the house is a small Eden! Also, Manolis the host was super lovely! I cannot recommend it enough to everyone looking for a few days in a beautiful nest within one of our most traditional villages!

Amazing stay

Pros: Green and lush oasis in village for those who appreciate sirene environment and independence. Many nice villages around to discover. Nice location in the middle of everything. Very attentive and caring host ! We really aprreciated our stay in this green oasis ;) !!!

Pros: The house was extremely clean and felt very safe having a front gate and also shuttered back door. It was centrally located within Vamos and easy to find the mini markets as well as restaurants, we felt like everything we needed was close by. We loved our cat visitors every day as huge cat people we loved having their company on the patio. Manolis is a great host and regularly checked in to see whether there was anything extra we needed.

A little green paradise in a cute village and with the best host

Pros: We loved our stay in this beautiful place! The house had everything we needed, it was well equipped, very clean and decorated with taste. The highlight was the garden where we could pick our own lemons and the little pool. The village is cute and really friendly, with a mix of locals and expats. Our host was truly amazing – he was very welcoming, full of great attentions including giving us homemade products. He even gave us flower seeds and helped us with a baby goat we found. This place shows why renting a flat is way better than staying at a hotel. We will definitely come back there next time we come back to Crete. It is one of the best stay we have ever had. The bonus is that every morning we were greeted by a very cool cat 🐱.

Cons: There were a lot of mosquitos (maybe adding plants which are mosquito repellents would help) so that it make it easier to enjoy the terrace.
