A peaceful haven in the mountains

Pros: This was the best equipped rental property I've ever been in. I feel that Fanis has thought of everything and was able to cook several meals as well as enjoying the Nespresso machine! The views are superb and the garden must be glorious in summer.

Cons: You need a map to find the driveway; driving down it is not for the faint-hearted.

Beautiful country home

Pros: Beautiful peaceful location with amazing starry nights and views over the surrounding green area, large house, AC in master bedroom and living room, good communication with owner, beach umbrella & chairs available for use, kitchen well equipped with as well salt, spices, tea, etc. Dishwasher and washing machine tablets and liquid - all provided. Would love to come again and stay longer!

Cons: Only improvement which could be made is an extra fan in the kids room, or a big ceiling fan, as the days we stayed in the house were really hot.

Dream house on the Cretan hills

Pros: Dream location on the hills, you could even see the milky-way with naked eyes! Spacious garden with tables and sunbeds with a great view. House very well equipped (washing machine liquids ...) and very cozy. Despite it's relatively off-grids, there are few local tavernas nearby where we had the best meals of our vacation. The beaches in the south (Elafonissi ...) are easily reachable by car. Make sure to have a full tank, as there are not many petrol stations around. The entrance is a bit narrow, but doable with any small car.

Pros: La maison est située dans un endroit fabuleux. isolée dans la nature le jardin donne sur une très belle vue. Elle est très bien équipée la maison. Le hôte est super disponible et gentil.

Pros: Man ist wirklich ungestört und kann sich mal richtig ausspannen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Ein besonderer Platz.

Cons: Es gibt Stechmücken wie im restlichen Kreta auch.

Pros: Magnifique hébergement pour ceux qui aiment le calme de la campagne. Mais les belles plages de Sougia et Gialiskari ne sont pas si loin. Mention spéciale pour la douche extérieure dans les grenadiers en fleurs.

Cons: Tout était parfait.
