Slovakia 🇸🇰

Pros: Despite our arrival in the late night hours, we received a very warm welcome, everything was explained, and we had a parking spot right next to the house we stayed in. The location is great, some of Crete’s most beautiful beaches are easily accessible: Balos, Falassarna, Elafonissi. In the evening, it’s just a short drive to enjoy a nice dinner in Kissamos.

Comfortable, beautiful and hospitable.

Pros: Lovely little place in a Greek village. Lots of space outdoors in the beautiful garden as well as table at porch. 2 minutes walk to a local taverna where the hosts are very friendly and the food and hospitality outstanding. (We went every night to watch the sun set. https://tavernamouraki.gr/. ) Our hosts were very kind, Poppy looked after us beautifully and when we left some clothing behind hosts went out of their way to return it to us! The village grows olive trees and tomatoes and the locals are friendly. The house is near to Falasarna beach and other attractions such as ancient olive tree, st johns cave etc. (Our favourite beach was Tiny beach.) Good for a short stay but stay a few days to get the most out of it. You do need a car to stay here.

Pros: The stay was one of the best we ever had. It was just as we wished for and super idyllic. A beautiful stone house on the countryside with olive trees and grapes growing around. But the best was our host and his mother Popi, she was so nice and forthcoming. We were served fresh grapes out of the garden and even self made cake :-) could not feel more at home.

Pros: Cozy, calm, very kind hosts. Beautiful garden. Parking space.

Cons: It is actually a studio attached to a bigger house. But it’s nice anyway.

Everything was perfect !

Pros: Vassili and his mother Popy are the nicest hosts. We felt very welcomed. The garden is a little haven. The house is beautiful and cosy.

Pros: We cannot recommend staying at this place highly enough! We loved our stay. The house is so beautiful, the hosts were lovely, and the location is great for restaurants and quiet beaches. We love Popi and Ari! 10/10!!!

It is the perfect getaway. Clean and roomy. With a great Tavern 200m away. The beach is very close.

Pros: The house is very nicely decorated and very clean. The Airconditioning worked very well. The landlady is such a sweet lady. She brought us Fruits and baked us Greek pie’s and other wonderful Greek things. The garden is awesome. We sat there for breakfast. The location is awesome. It is situated very close to Falassarna Livadi Beach.

Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was the shower. The water didn’t drain fast enough. She was aware, so I am sure it will be fixed. She brought is extra towels to dry the bathroom in case it happened again.

Pros: The house owner, Mrs. Poppi, was lovely; she was very friendly and welcomed us with a delicious home-made cake. The house was small, but spacey enough for us, as we were only three. It was clean, fully equipped (even with a washing machine) and cozy. Great plus: the beautiful garden, where we could have our breakfast and sometimes also dinner.
