Ireland 🇮🇪

Pros: A perfect stay in a traditional Cretan house that had all modern conveniences. The Andrianaki family have owned this property since it was built in 1871 and have lovingly restored it. We loved the quiet, the privacy, the views of the mountains and the overall ambience. The Andrianaki family were wonderful hosts and we can't wait to return.

Cons: Nothing. It was sheer perfection for us.

A memorable experience in a traditional village house with an enclosed courtyard and inviting pool.

Pros: Villa Rouga is a beautiful traditional property in a quiet location, close to the village taverna and within an easy drive of Georgiopoli and Vamos. There is a fabulous pool and a choice of outdoor spaces for alfresco dining. The hosts are attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Cons: We liked everything about this property, but it may not suit people with mobility issues as the bedrooms are accessed by steep, narrow wooden staircases.

fantastic place for quiet holiday

Pros: Zeer aangenaam huis: groot, goede bedden en kussens, erg mooi zwembad en terras; zeer goede dorpsherberg vlakbij; mooie streek met voldoende activiteiten; Chania goed bereikbaar

Cons: redelijk veel muggen s'nachts (zorg voor toestelletjes); 1 enkele airco voor grote ruimte is krap; waterdruk in douche soms onvoldoende; ondanks dit wel een verdiende 10/10
