Stone Mansion

Just absolutely fabulous! Great buikding(s) and great hosts.

Pros: It was just a perfect layout for the group that we had. It allowed us to have our own space but also to be together. The pool was lovely. The outdoor space was well shaded so it was perfect for the children.

Cons: There really wasn’t much! If I am being picky, air conditioning in the kitchen areas would have been nice. But it really didn’t matter!

Pros: We felt like we were living in a small village with a beautiful stone courtyard, garden and the pool. It was spectacular and we were not bothered by the distance from the sea. It was fantastic, not to mention the hospitality of the owner Menia. Thank you dear Menia for a perfect vacation.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Lovely short vacation in a lovely house with two pools.

Pros: Lovely house and host! Better than the pictures. It is actually kind of 3 houses and one attic. Can easily host up to 4 different families! we were just one family with lots of space :D even if we looked at all the pictures we did not quit know what we have booked :D - kind of a hole block made out of two big buildings (one buidling is split in two) - a garden with fruit trees, a courtyard with 2 dining places 2 pools (one heated small and one larger cold) 3 balconies and one roof top terrass. Nice neighborhood as well! minimmarket, tavernas and small shops about 2 km away.

Cons: Liked it all! I think for the host to make us visitors understand better the greatness of the building a walk through video would be very nice!!! I made one my self :)

Pros: Top stay for a group of friends with kids!The kids can play around all day-long in a safe environment with a lot to discover! Beautiful scenery, beautiful garden, well-kept traditional house, privacy, very good location, just a few km away from Chania! The house is equipped with everything one needs to cook! Thank you!

Cons: The weather wasn't very nice while we visited. The main area (living-room and kitchen) of the stone house is equipped with a beautiful fireplace. In the evening when some friend lit the fireplace we had a comfortable temperature in the room that allowed us to sit down and relax. In the morning though when I woke up alone and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast it was pretty chilly (i am not familiar with lighting fireplaces) . I missed an air-condition or some other form of heating there. Plus it was rainy and there was no covered space outside of the house. We all missed an umbrella or some other solution to enjoy the garden despite of the rain.

Highly recommended for families

Pros: EdrThe host was fabulous and had provided all the facilities we needed and more. She had even left a few basic supplies in the fridge. Everything in the villa was immaculately clean and good quality. Air conditioned bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. Shaded communal areas in the villa included dining area, garden etc and we were able to enjoy family meals together (12 of us in the party). The villa was right in the middle of the community and people were very friendly. You do need to have a car to enable you to visit places of interest. The closest top 10 beaches in Crete was 1 hour 40 mins drive, beautiful lake 20 mins drive, harbour town of Chania around 20 mins, airport 20 mins. Heraklion was around 2.5 hours drive.

Pros: Amazing place, a lot of space and privacy, clean and many free goodies. Hosts are super nice and helpful, kids loved the place

Ihana loma perheen kanssa.

Pros: Ihana lomanviettopaikka perheelle ja sai olla omassa rauhassa. Uima-allas oli huippu sekä poreallas. Majoittajan kanssa asioiminen oli helppoa ja viestiin sain vastauksen erittäin nopeasti. Suosittelen vuokraaman auton, jotta pääsee kulkemaan näppärästi paikasta toiseeen.

Pros: Stone Mansion is located in very small village Kaina. There are shop and gas station near the house. It was easy to find the place. Menia as a host is very nice - she explained the house and lights etc. very well. House itself is really big and there was enough room to our team - we where 8 people. There are 2 kitchen, all rooms with AC. We mainly used inner yard to sit and enjoy breakfast and pool time. Pool is quit small but enough to get refreshment from the sun. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay at Stone Mansion.

Cons: Beds and pillows are very firm and hard. Not how we are used to. The house is located on the main road of the village and there are some small pubs around and people are gathering there very early in the morning and start to talk loud and we couldn`t sleep (this is not house problem just to be aware of it) same goes with church - Thursday and Sunday where very noisy mornings and morning I mean 6.30 already.

Schöne Unterkunft in der man den griechischen Flair fühlen kann.

Pros: Haus und Garten sehr gepflegt und sauber. Menia ist eine sehr nette und tolle Gastgeberin. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Das Dorf ist klein und sehr ruhig. Perfekt zum abschalten und Erholung pur. Pool und Jacuzzi sind für eine Abkühlung und Spaß eine tolle Abwechslung. In 20 Minuten ist man an einem wirklich schönen Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet das nächste Dorf in ca. 10 Minuten Entfernung. Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub und danken Menia für ihre herausragende Gastfreundschaft.

Cons: Nichts.

Ein wunderbarer Ort auf Krera

Pros: Angenehmes Flair, urig. Wunderschöner Innenhof, tolle Aussicht. Saubere Zimmer. Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin.

Cons: Steile Treppen im Haus.
