A hidden gem in Chania.
Pros: The location was wonderfully quiet and secluded, and near to supermarkets and restaurants. The house was comfortable, clean, and contained everything and more that you'd expect for the price. The balcony , patios, and garden are ideal places to relax after a long day sightseeing, or on days when staying in is your choice. The icing on the cake is Sergios and Irini , the hosts. They were very informative, full of information on places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Their kindness and caring when my wife fell ill will always be remembered.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

We stayed for 31 days and we enjoyed every single day.
Pros: The hosts, Sergios and his wife Irene, were very courteous and accommodating. Sergios met us upon our arrival and briefed us on the house, location of amenities, and the surrounding areas. He presented us with a couple of nice Greek food and cooking items to welcome us. The house is situated in a very quiet area, which is what we were looking for. We wanted to be close but not too close to the main city and this location was perfect. The garden area on the property was fantastic and full of a variety of plants, trees, etc. Sergios indicated we could pick some of the fruit, but our real enjoyment came from just looking at the garden every day. My wife and I have traveled to Crete once a year for over 30 years and we rate Eliva House as one of the best places we have stayed and will happily book again in the future.
Cons: I can not think of a thing.

A nice, quiet stop for a few days.
Pros: It was very quiet, and surrounded by olive trees. It has a beautiful fruit garden, and we were free to pick anything we liked. Very clean and spacious. The host was very nice. You need a car to reach the property.
Cons: The bedroom was on the upper floor, and the stair was a bit hard to manage for our creaky knees. Also, the view from the bedroom was a bit industrial. Not so from the ground floor, from where you could only see the garden.

Very nice
Pros: The house is a real oasis of peace that has all the conditions to spend a dream vacation in Chania. Sergios, the owner, welcomed us warmly even though we had a flight delay, he was very helpful throughout our stay and made us feel like home. Both the terraces and the courtyard are sensational and John Boy is very funny. We will definitely stay here when we return to Crete.

Excellent garden house 15-20 min away from Chania downtown.
Pros: Eliva Garden house is modern and freshly renovated. It has all facilities you might need during your vacation in Chania. Excellent parking place with closed gates. Inside it was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. In addition, it has 2 terraces and 1 balcony outside where you could spend evenings. In the garden owners grow oranges, pomegranates, bananas, lemons, so it was good educational experience for Northern European kids. Lastly, the host and John Boy are super friendly and do their best to help you enjoy your stay.
Cons: You must have a rental car if you want to stay here.

EXPERIENCIA INOLVIDABLE
Pros: Nos gustó todo. La casa era maravillosa tanto por fuera como por dentro. Completamente nueva y con todo lo que puedes necesitar. Además tiene 3 terrazas, cada una más bonita, barbacoa y jardín con arboles frutales, olivos y flores muy bien cuidado. Junto con una pequeña huerta que puedes disponer de todo lo que quieras. Sergio fue un anfitrión inmejorable, siempre pendiente de nosotros, dándonos información de sitios donde ir y ayudándonos en todo momento que necesitamos. Además nos dejó un detalle de bienvenida, miel, aceite, aperitivos griegos... Le hemos puesto un 10 pero le pondríamos más si se pudiera. De los mejores alojamientos que he estado.

Pros: C’est une maison assez proche de la canée tout en étant au calme. Le jardin est un havre de paix et l’intérieur de la maison est équipé de tout! J’ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour ici, merci.

Maison apaisante et très confortable, séjour impeccable en immersion locale !
Pros: Accueil de l'hôte, Sergios, très sympathique et chaleureux, merci pour les cadeaux de votre production, huile d'olive, olives et miel ! Bouteilles d'eau au frais appréciées ! Conseils multiples pour passer un super séjour ! Maison rénovée avec modernisme sans dénaturer l'âme crétoise, confort optimum et tout équipé, spacieux et au calme puisque plantée dans un décor de verger et potager entretenu ! Proximité de la voie rapide et centre Chania à 10 minutes de voiture, fantastique logement, nous avons adorés !
