Pros: We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house is spacious, cozy, and truly stunning. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, welcoming us with drinks, fresh fruit, and vegetables – such a lovely touch. Surrounded by nature, this place feels like a hidden gem: peaceful and isolated, yet perfectly located to reach the most beautiful beaches on the west coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot – highly recommend!

Winter stay on an Olive Farm

Pros: Uniquely interesting property, country setting amongst olive groves. Hosts very hospitable, wonderful people- Special thanks for piloting us to the property!. A real feel of history. We walked locally but you will need maps or a reasonable phone app showing tracks

Cons: Bed a little musty- probably house had been locked up for some time (this will be a winter issue only). The large number of working dogs in area may be a problem for some. Definitely must have a car for this one.

Pros: Everything about this place is amazing. The vineyard porch, the forniture, the view and all the farmyard animals let you feel the vibes and the quitness of the cretan countryside.

Great place under the Crete’s stars!

Pros: It’s a great place - independent, no neighbors ( except the dogs and chickens of the neighbors), all you need is there plus welcome present ( raki) - highly appreciated! Many nice decorations- authentic atmosphere. We went on a beautiful hike where you can see Falasarna beach- beautiful sunset in the company of some goats. Balos beach is easy to reach and worth the effort. Recommend!

Cons: Bed a bit small but not a real problem.

Pros: Bo på landet på bondegård i et tradisjonelt hus med mange dyr rund. Meget hyggelige folk. Fine muligheter for turgåing Ingen turister. Med bil kort vei til Falasarna med strand og dykkemuligheter. Er du god til fots, er det en fin gåtur over fjellet. I andre retning er det Kissamos der du har mange muligheter.

Posizione fantastica e ottima accoglienza

Pros: La casa è davvero molto accogliente. Ottima la posizione che permette di raggiungere molti luoghi strategici di Creta, pur restando lontana dal caos e, anzi, essendo immersa nella tranquillità. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e prontamente disponibili a risolvere qualsiasi questione. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra.

Pros: La casa di Maria è un luogo di pace fuori dal mondo, le serate fuori con i grilli e l'aria fresca, sotto il pergolato di piante bellissime ci hanno regalato un soggiorno stupendo. La casa è equipaggiata di tutto, in base al vento si può decidere in quale spiaggia andare, sono tutte molto comode. Grandissi a ospitalità e accoglienza, a saperlo prima saremmo rimasti molto di più!

Un havre de paix

Pros: Cette jolie maison traditionnelle dans un village ,ou chacun travaille au champ,permet de voir la réalité de la vie quotidienne en dehors des plages. Le lit ,a du être changé car il fait au moins 1.6m X2 avec une excellente literie. Le chien qui garde la maison est très calme et n'aboie pas,et accepte avec plaisir quelques caresses. Nous n'avons pas été gènès par des chiens dans le voisinage. Seuls les bruits des cloches des moutons et le chant des poules bercent le lieu. Un excellent accueil de Maria et Manoli complète le charme de ce lieu ,où il fait bon traîner sur la grande terrasse ,ombragée par sa treille de vigne.. Bref prendre le temps de se poser et de ne rien faire. Un chemin pédestre par a la plage de Falassarna et offre de superbes vues sur la baie de Kissamos.

Cons: Rien , tout est confortable.

Pros: La gentillesse des propriétaires qui ont été aux petits soins avec moi. La vue est magnifique et profiter du lever du soleil tout en dégustant son café est un vrai plaisir. La maison est un témoignage touchant de la vie domestique crétoise et de leurs occupants. Waze n'est pas tout à fait exact, il nous amène très près mais j'ai dû appeler pour me faire aider. Peut-être mettre des données plus précises pour trouver cette jolie maison. Merci aux propriétaires de votre accueil.
