Pros: We like the place very much. The food was definitely one of the best in Crete ( and we know Crete very well) and the owners and stuff so friendly. The stay here was simply perfect. The pure atmosphere of hospitality. Thanks.

Super friendly staff, delicious breakfast and ideal location

Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast consisted of delicious Greek yoghurt and honey and freshly squeezed to order orange juice. Air conditioning worked well. Proximity to beach could not have been better.

Cons: Shower room was basic and shower dripped slightly meaning floor was always wet below the mat.

We had a very pleasant stay. Very nice and easygoing staff, Cretan hospitality is real !

Pros: I really loved the easiness of staying at Orthi Ammos. The staff made us feel like we were friends staying over. Not intrusive, but here to help when needed. They gave us nice tips around the area. The isolation of the room wasn't perfect and the AC a bit old, but everything was functional, and the beds were recent and comfortable. Nice little outside area.

Cons: The room required a bit of fresh air every time we entered it, let's say it was slightly damp, but nothing bad really. Entering the building through the front implied going through the kitchen which was sometimes a bit hot and smelled of cooked food, but again, not a major issue.

Beautiful place!

Pros: Beautiful place! We were there at the beginning of June and we were the only guests. The beach if front of the hotel and the one nearby (10 minutes walk) were both beautiful and uncrowded. Absolutely stunning! The staff of the taverna was very kind and there was coffee and tea available in the room.

Cons: The room wasn't very clean and the blankets smelled weirdly. The taverna closes quite early in the evening, not possible to have dinner there.

Pros: The fish menu was very good. The service was also. Special mention to Salem the waiter. The taverna is in an excellent location with amazing sea view and view of the castle.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

A place conducive to relaxation in beautiful natural surroundings and a pleasant atmosphere

Pros: Hotel located near the beach, Venetian castle in a quiet area. Rooms have sea, castle and mountain views. Very helpful and hospitable staff. Ideal place for a holiday and as a starting point in this part of Crete.

Great beach, very charming village.

Pros: It was very quite and close to one of the nicest and cleanest beaches in Greece I’ve been to so far. Room Was comfortable and had everything one needs

Cons: The address on booking is not 100% accurate, so we had to drive around the property to find it.
