Perfect stay in a beautiful valley

Pros: A wonderful place located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. It's a good base for trips to the southern beaches of Elafonisi (25 min) and Palaiochora (45 min). Access to the valley itself from the main road at the top is a bit steep but the road is good, you just have to drive slowly. The apartment is perfect, well-equipped (we even had beach towels), and very spacious. It has a wonderful terrace with a beautiful view! The historical description of the building provided by the owners was very interesting, as were the old photographs of their Greek family. It was a real honor to spend some time here. Communication with the owners via WhatsApp was excellent. We received detailed directions and even a video tutorial explaining exactly where to park and where the building is, which was very helpful. Hope to visit again someday! :)

A lovely quiet stay in a traditional Cretan house

Pros: Lovely quiet location (it is a tiny village - you have to walk or drive to shops, Tavernas etc) Very comfortable bed Cool and clean Giorgos and Konstantina are wonderful hosts who provided a warm welcome and very helpful information. And finally that beautiful roof terrace!

Extraordinary

Pros: The Owners made remarkable job renowating this old house. You can see they put their hearts into this place - old furniture, books, embroidered art. All looks so generic and well put together. The terrace has amazing wiev, you can chill there with natural shadow or look at the stars at night, breathe clean mountain air. You live in small village with olive gardens and small river few minutes from the location. Nature is amazing there. Morning time there was bakery bus selling bread. The apartment was very spacious and clean, beds comfortable. Parking is few meters away and always available. I highly recommend to spend at least couple days there and explore the area - Elafonisi, Kedrodasos

Pros: The location was stunning! The small village smells of flowers, trees and it is super quiet. We loved the house and the host was so kind and helpful. We would highly recommend this gem!

Beautiful accomodation with a stunning rooftop terrace

Pros: Beautifully renovated old Cretan house in a quiet village in the mountains. Kitchen is equipped with everything one needs, there is a great roof top terrace to relax and to enjoy meals on. The owners are very lovely and welcoming. We had such a great time here and can recommend this place 100%.

Amazing place

Pros: Amazing place for staying! We booked this place on our way to Elafonisi beach (we went from Heraklion) and it was best decision! Highly recommend you to buy some food and organize breakfast at terrace - the view is heartbreaking! Very cozy village between the mountains, lots of greens! The apt is like on the picture, it was clean, nice beds, in the kitchen you also find everything you may need, bath also nice!

Hidden gem

Pros: We stayed in apt.1. The decor and the house are very traditional.Set in a very peaceful village, surrounded by trees and a running stream . There is a roof top terrace and views of the valley. The bed is excellent,wide and comfortable. The bathroom very modern and a lovely rain shower. Kitchen is fully equipped. The location is great for exploring Paleohora and the well known Elafonisi beach. Only an hour to Chania. Very relaxing and peaceful area .

Cons: Nothing .

Unqiue place on your way to Kedrodasos

Pros: Unique atmosphere, different than your average apartment / hotel. It is worthwhile to stop there.

Cons: It would be great to have a duvet instead of blankets.
