Rouladina Apartments

We enjoyed our stay in Stalos, not a bad experience

Pros: We stayed in appt 1, it was very spacious plenty of room for 6 people. 1 large bathroom with a shower over bath, toilet, bidet and washing machine (although the bidet didn’t work and we had a leak from the washer) the owners did try and get a plumber to fix it but it was still leaking when we left. As a result of this we had to turn the water off behind the washing machine after each use. The kitchen is well stocked, everything you need to prepare light meals. There is a cooker (no grill), microwave and fridge freezer, all fairly old but seemed to work ok. We never used the oven, there are a few restaurants walking distance 5 mins, you can venture further 10-20mins to plenty more restaurants. The beach is a 5/10min walk, as is the bus stop to Chania. The housekeeping came twice in our 10 day stay. Bedding changed once, towels changed twice. (Except pool towels, these were the same throughout our whole stay). Staff and owners very friendly all in all we had a pleasant stay 🙂

Cons: The hills to the property are steep from the main road, be prepared if you want to carry shopping from the shop! There isn’t an easier route, walking up the hills are the only option, some hills are much steeper than others. There seem to be a few dogs living around the property, I was often woken early to dogs barking. The pool is small, not very deep between the hours of 3-5 you need to be quiet around the pool, no noise or children making a noise. That said we just headed up to our apartment for a siesta or to get ready for the evening.

Lovely apartments, quiet location and lovely hosts on site.

Pros: Big and spacious, very clean, lovely hosts, nice pool area

Cons: Swimming pool stairs in too steep for me so didn’t use pool much. Shops are uphill on the way back, unless you are fit and healthy you need transport as it is off the main roads by a approx 7 - 10 min walk

A wonderful location with superb views an excellent host and a friendly cleaner.

Pros: Location, size of apartment, sea view, outdoor facilities, hosts, cleaner was friendly.

Great 10 day stay with family and friends.

Pros: Well priced accommodation for 6 people. Air con good in main room. Beds comfortable.

Cons: Could do with some updating, very old fridge freezer for example. Pool could do with a regular clean.

Pros: Apartment 4 was great - located on the ground level and quick access to the pool. Bedrooms were a good size and also 2 bathrooms. any issues we had were fixed quickly. Eating area outside and also 2 outdoor garden seats which overlooked the pool and ocean view. Grocery shops, restaurants and the beach were nearby and a short walk. Easy to get to Chania - taxis are available and can be called costs around 15-20 euros to get to Chania. Hosts were very friendly and were on hand for anything. Provided us a space to wait when we checked out and could still use the pool. Bathroom was also accessible. There is one main A/C unit in the living area and then electric fans in the bedrooms which was sufficient. Pool towels in addition to bath towels were provided and was a nice touch and made it easier to dry off - pool shower also available. Bottle of water in the fridge on arrival aswell - as we arrived late this was helpful as we couldn’t go to the grocery shop.

Cons: The property had wifi but in the bedrooms it was a little slow. near the pool area it worked fine. Sun-beds are available but not many umbrellas for shade. The apartment has a TV but unfortunately only greek channels were available. It is not a smart TV - will be best to bring a streaming stick with you. Check out is 10am which is a little early. Would have expected 11am or 12pm - Hosts were very accommodating though and provided us an area to leave our bags.

Great little find

Pros: The property we stayed in was a three bedroom apartment. Full sized cooker and oven. The whole family were lovely. And live all around the area. Sun loungers were lush. Plenty of shade. Little balcony. Flowers everywhere. Really loved it. Also a washing machine for guests to use with was great for us. They had olive oil, tea coffee, water and Raki waiting for us. I’m would definitely go again. There is a bit of a hill to the local shops. But a lovely bakery at the bottom. So worth the trot. As well as a local supermarket. Loved it.

Cons: The only little remark is that the pool wasn’t as accessible as I had hoped. The ladder seemed a bit rickety so I didn’t use it as much as I would like to have done. (Being slightly older and not so slim!) but that is really me being VERY picky. I would still definitely stay again.

Pros: Priestranný apartmán, výhľad, čistý bazén upratovanie počas pobytu

Cons: V jednej kúpeľni sa nedali zatvoriť dvere a plesnivý záves v sprche bol trochu nepríjemný, v druhej kúpeľni záchod po spláchnutí strašne hučal.

Tökéletes kilátás.

Pros: Minden nagyon szuper volt. A tulajdonosok is nagyon kedvesek voltak, ha Krétára jövünk legközelebb biztosan itt szállunk meg.

Wspaniały wypoczynek w Rouladina Apartments

Pros: Dla nas to miejsce było idealne. Dużo prywatności, cisza, cudowny widok z balkonu, basen, aneks kuchenny, Apartament wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne. Na powitanie raki. W lodówce woda i sok. Szum morza, cykady, zapach kwiatów i ziół. Stalos urocze, niezatłoczone, pusta plaża, pyszne jedzenie w tawernach, bardzo przyjaźni mieszkańcy. Bardzo blisko piękna Chania. Wspaniale wypoczęliśmy. Dziękujemy gospodarzom. Już tęsknimy i myślimy o powrocie.
