The Fabrica Falasarna

Pros: We would like to say a big thank you to Kostas and his family for our stay! This is an amazing place, beautifully decorated using the tools to produce olive oil, but also modern and large enough to comfortably host a big family. This is one of the most beautiful and authentic places that we stayed. An absolute gem, with special thanks to your family and their treats!!

Exceptional stay

Pros: Very very nice restored old building with all modern comforts. Inside you find an old olive oil and flower mill. It is run by a wonderful family who can give you tips on many local things to visit and restaurants. The property is on an access road to Falassarna so you are literally 5 mins away from the beach.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Perfect stay at La Fabrica

Pros: We had a great times at La Fabrica. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable! Hosts were amazing, very careful and they contact us very early to make us feel comfortable about check-in. Also Falasarna area is so beautiful, peaceful and well located to explore the western part of Crete. We definitely recommend this place! And would be back with pleasure there.

Pros: Lovely and relaxing holiday spent in an amazing location nearby the most beautiful beach. The inside is like a museum and the yard in the night is amazing and very relaxing!!! The hoster was very nice and he welcomed us with traditional treats and with a big smile! I would stay there again for sure!

Pros: Thank you very much for your warm hospitality. We really appreciated the homemade delicacies you offered us and also the raki, fresh fruit, and more. The house itself has an interesting history, and we loved its beautiful aesthetics. The terrace is a particularly cozy and peaceful spot, perfect for enjoying breakfast, working, or simply drinking your raki. This will definitely be our first choice the next time we visit western Crete.

Pros: Un superbe accueil de la part de nos hôtes avec des fruits dans le frigo, et une petite attention lors de notre départ. Merci ! Le jardin est très joli avec des plantes magnifiques et le hamac. On pouvait se garer juste à l’angle. Une jolie balade directement au départ de la maison sur le sentier derrière l’église. C’était calme et à l’abri des lieux surfrequentés.

Cons: La sortie est directement sur une route très fréquentée. Pas de trottoir. Il n’y avait presque aucun endroit où ranger ses vêtements. L’escalier est très raide avec un gros trou sur la gauche. L’une des chambres a une sortie qui donne directement dessus, très dangereux la nuit. La deuxième chambre est ouverte sur le salon (mezzanine) donc exposée au bruit dès que quelqu’un est debout dans la maison.

Pros: Bellissimo appartamento, curato e pulito, staff molto gentile, posizione ottima vicina alla spiaggia più bella di Creta.

Our favorite stay ever!

Pros: Wow! Where do I start? This was one of the most wonderful family stays our family has experienced in Europe. We were welcomed by the host with delicious local baked goods and fruit. The house is truly special. This is no ordinary location. It has family history that has been cherished. The family has put a lot of work in to preserving the history of their ancestors. We would gladly visit again and spend more time with the family. We felt right at home. We have so much appreciation for this home and the lovely family! The location was perfect for food options, visiting beaches and hiking.

Inolvidable

Pros: Nos encantó todo. La casa y su historia, la maravillosa comida de bienvenida y de despedida hecha por la madre, la ubicación y el recibimiento. En todo momento Kostas ha estado pendiente de que estuviéramos bien y nos ha recomendado sitios increíbles. Es un sitio verdaderamente especial, nos hemos sentido como en casa y me encantaría volver a tener la oportunidad de venir a Creta y alojarme en la Fábrica.

Υπέροχος και άνετος χώρος!

Pros: Ένας πολύ ωραίος χώρος , φιλόξενος, υπέροχα διακοσμημένος που σε ταξιδεύει στο χρόνο και στην κρητική παράδοση. Θετικό το WiFi και ακόμα καλύτερο και βολικό ότι υπάρχει έξω από το σπίτι στάση λεωφορείου που σε πηγαίνει στην παραλία είτε στα Χανιά!

Cons: Κανένα αρνητικό!
