Effi Apartments

Happy chilled memorable place in a perfect location

Pros: Perfect location in the centre of everything you need but also very peaceful with no traffic noise just the sound of the waves! It is kept super clean, rooms are really well equipped and comfortable. Effi is extremely hospitable and helpful. I asked for help on some things and she is always willing to help. It felt very safe and secure for a solo traveler. Platanias is a beautiful area with loads to explore both inland in the valley, in the older part of the village (war museum etc) and on the coast (watersports, boat trips etc). Lots of great shopping and great quality food, bars, live music. The people are so welcoming and kind. It really is a perfect holiday destination.

Cons: There is nothing not to like. It is not like other places but it is unique and has a personality. If you’re expecting a hotel is is not one. There are lots of businesses on either side for food and drinks and even a pool bar if you need it. Direct beach access with Effi and lovely comfortable outdoor seating areas.

Super relaxing

Pros: The place is exactly like the description: beautiful and really comfortable, just on the sea with a nice resting area. the host is really welcoming, kind and helpful with everything.

Totally recommend! The host is very nice, the property well taken care of.

Pros: Really nice apartment for a family with 2 kids (appropriate also for 3 kids), sea view, nice terrace, very clean.

A great little apartment, meters from the beach!

Pros: We loved our stay at Effi's. Everything was clean, comfortable and as described. The times we did see Effi, she was such a delight and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the private seating area at the back of our apartment, where we would sit and have our morning coffees. We were also able to store our bags before our airport transfer, which was appreciated. The location is amazing - there is a bath to the beach, with a fab beach and pool bar only meters away!

Cons: We couldn't fault our stay - we were disappointed to leave !

Very relaxed and comfortable

Pros: Effi is the most friendly host, not always around but easy to be reached

Cons: A swimming pool would be nice but the beach is very close and so is the neighbour pool bar hotel

Pros: Fab- right in the beach ! Gorgeous gal cleaned every day - spotless!

Cons: Slightly better kitchen facilities

Amazing

Pros: Everything was just amazing! Very clean rooms, equipped with everything you need for a longer stay, the location was perfect - right at the beach and at the same time - a 2 mins walk from the main street. Effi is an excellent host! We highly recommend the place!

Dream place in Crete

Pros: Perfect place to stay in Platanias, directly on a beautiful beach in front of the apartments, everything beautifully decorated and very clean, houses very comfortable there is evetything you need, and the wonderful baclony with sea view. Location is perfect close to markets and restaurants just 2 minutes walking to the center but very quite. The best thing is Effi the owner she is is a great host she will do everything to make your holiday perfect.

Cons: Everything was perfect we will come back

Dream place in Crete

Pros: The Best place to stay in Platanias, perfect location direct on the beach beautiful balcony with sea view. Houses are beautiful and very clean, all the hotel is very nice decorated, you feel super comfortable. Effi the owner is a wonderful person woll do anuthing to make your holiday perfect, lot of reccomandations. The location is perfect eorh lot of shop and restaurants just 2 min. Walking from the main street.
