Very good base for exploring Chania region.

Pros: First of all, the owners are good people! Maria is amazing. Then, apartment is spotless clean, functional and very well located. You have silence during the night in the middle of Platanias !

Pros: Amazing, spacious place, exceptionally clean, located conveniently right near the center of Platanias. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming and even treated us to some local cuisine on a couple of occasions.

Cons: The bathroom lacked soap, but that was easy to fix. The rest of the amenities were readily available.

Good balance of money vs quality

Pros: The apartment was clean and the towels and sheets were changed every 2 days and they washed as well the floor. The owner has offered us on a daily basis home made cookies.. my kids loved that. Location is very good, the apartment is very big and spacious. Exactly what I was looking for travelling with my kids.

Work trip staying at Babis

Pros: The location was amazing for the purpose of our trip and upon arrival we we greeted very enthusiastically showing us around the stay. The owner was extremely friendly and made sure everything was very clean consistently. The air-conditioning worked amazing especially when it was super hot. Close to the bus station, beach and food is available everywhere.

Cons: Wifi wasn't the fastest but it worked but for the necessities, if you want to watch videos or download others I would try to it beforehand

Pros: Maria, our host, was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed, and provided us with self-made lemon juice, and even stuffed paprika for lunch once (I guess we looked starved ;) )

Pros: Great place to stay. Definitely the biggest added value is Maria's aunt who always greets you in the morning and treats you with local goodies. A great starting point to visit all the best beaches of Crete.

Pros: Great location in a quiet area, close to main street and walking distance to the beach. Big, spacious apartment with 2 balconies. Very clean, the host is making cleaning every day. Maria, the host is a very friendly person. She helped us in every request. We received almost every day something home made tasty bite from her. Our little boy the same. I can recommand this place for everyone.

Best Apartments in Platanias

Pros: The apartment was perfectly clean from the first day we came and were cleaned every day of our staying. Clean bed sheets and towels always. Property is placed on perfect location, very nice beach is close, also main road. The hosts are beautiful people, Maria is the nicest person we met during our trip. All the best, 10/10.
