Mulberry Hill - amazing panoramic views - Kissamos

Pros: Beautiful and quiet place to stay. Comfortable, well equipped and spacious room! Amazing view from the balcony as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Amazing location just outside of Kissamos, perfect to be close to nature, away from crowds. Amazing view to the sea and Kissamos! The owners have organised everything perfectly, nothing is missing. Very clean, hot water all the time, all appliances are brand new and mattresses are anatomical. Eco friendly also with parking you can charge electric cars from solar panels! Extra credit: they provide us beach towels.

Cons: Nothing important. Only the road to the facilities is the only problem but if you follow the instructions of the owners is a piece of cake.

A beautiful, comfortable and spacious home in an ideal location for exploring the northwest/west.

Pros: The house was really comfortable and spacious. There were two large balconies with beautiful views across the bay. There were also gorgeous views of the mountains. Although it is in a quiet, rural area, the house is only a 5 minute drive from the town of Kissamos and it is perfectly placed to explore the Northwest of Crete and the beautiful beaches of Balos, Falassarna and Elafonisi. The hosts, Fiona and Manu, had incredible knowledge of the area and outdoor activities. They gave great tips on the best places to go hiking, swimming and snorkelling.

Cons: Nothing! I wish we had more time there.

Wonderful place to stay! Views right down to the ocean 😊

Pros: A truly lovely place with fantastic views right down to the ocean! Well worth waking up with the light to catch the sunrise (see my review pics!). I had a very comfy room, which was a twin with a bathroom just across the landing. I was there solo but the room would have been perfect for people travelling together too. Clearly a lot of time and attention has been given to making this an authentic and comfortable place to stay, and I can't recommend it enough. The WiFi was great throughout, aircon in the bedrooms, and the kitchen and sitting areas are comfy and well-equipped. You also won't find better hosts than Fiona and Manu, who arrange and guide local outdoors activities (hikes, swims etc) and can tell you all there is to know about the best spots to see, where to eat and making the most of your time in Kissamos.

Cons: No downsides for me! The amazing views mean you are nestled high above Kissamos, so there's an ascent to get to the property but it's a well-tarmac'd road easily traversable by e-bike (which I did a few times), or car, or on foot if you fancy the steps. Going down by bike is a treat.

A hilltop paradise run by fantastic hosts!

Pros: As the title of the property suggests, the view from Mulberry Hill is simply breathtaking. From the balcony you can see Kissamos, the surrounding hills and villages, and all the way down to the sea. The property itself is sunny, comfortable and very clean. Although not in the centre of Kissamos, getting to the centre takes only 5-10 minutes by car or by bike and the return journey up the hill is around 15-20 minutes by e-bike. Alternatively, you can also walk down to the city in just under an hour. Manu and Fiona are fantastic hosts and experts in the local area who were more than happy to give advice on where to eat and what to see.

Cons: Make sure to wear good insect repellant at night if you choose to sleep with the windows open!

Pros: Απο τα πλεον αρτια, εξυπνα και λειτουργικα εξοπλισμενα καταλυμματα. Για την καθαριοτητα, θα εβαζα 20 αστερια. Μοναδικη τοποθεσια, μοναδικη θέα. Απο τις λιγες ευκαιριες να αγναντεψεις τον γαλαξια, μακρυα απο light-polution. Διακριτικοι, φιλικοι και εξυπηρετικοτατοι οικοδεσποτες. Στηριζω την αποφαση δυο νεων, δραστηριων αλλοδαπων επιχειρηματιων, να επιχειρησουν στη χωρα μου. Ενα μεγαλο μπραβο αλλα και ευχαριστω!

Pros: Bellissima Esperienza, località situata a pochi minuti dal centro di Kissamos, posto magico, silenzioso e lontano dal chiasso del centro città, immerso nella natura. L’appartamento molto pulito e munito di tutti comfort. Super consigliato sia per la posizione tattica e sia per l’host che è stato di grande aiuto, gentile e educato. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Pros: L'host gentile e disponibile. Punto strategico per raggiungere in poco tempo alcune delle più belle spiagge di Creta.

Endroit calme, bon accueil de Fiona, appt fonctionnel et orienté respect de la nature.

Pros: Le calme, c'est ce que j'étais venue chercher. Fiona est sympa, convivIale et vous donne de bons tuyaux pour vos virées. J'ai apprécié la propreté des lieux, l'agencement de l'appartement, la luminosité

Cons: Vu qu'il a plu, pas possibilité d'aller dehors car la toile mise n'est pas étanche. Peut-être qu'un transat serait un plus. C'est à la marge, les nombreux chats qui viennent sur la terrasse et miaulent... mais bon, j'aime bien les chats, c'est surtout le nombre. Je devais fermer la porte fenêtre car tous les jours, ils étaient mes compagnons à m'attendre... Ne vous fiez pas au gps, j'ai tourné pendant longtemps, mêmes les coordonnées transmises par Fiona m'ont guidé vers un autre lieu, pas loin certes, mais à 300 mètres.

Oasi di pace e intelligenza rispettosa della natura.

Pros: Abbiamo soggiornato a Mulberry Hill (due famiglie - sei persone), godendoci una casa spaziosa, comoda, pulitissima, fornita di tutto il necessario ed oltre, con una vista spettacolare sugli uliveti che arrivano fino al mare. Ci siamo trovati immersi nella pace della natura, lontani dalla folla, ma a pochissima distanza d’auto da negozi, spiagge e taverne. I proprietari (che vivono a pian terreno) sono stati deliziosi: gentili, attenti, disponibili e fonte di preziosi consigli. Ulteriore bonus: grandissima attenzione per l’ambiente, con soluzioni ecologiche e suggerimenti intelligenti. È la base perfetta per esplorare l’ovest di Creta. Torneremo sicuramente.
