Elegant 2BR Apartment

Pros: The apartment was very spacious, clean, and well appointed, with everything you needed, a short walk from old town in a quiet residential area. The lady that owns the apartment lives locally and is very helpful, with recommendations around the area, and she responded to any questions very quickly. We didn't mind the short walk into old town as it meant you were in a less busy area, and it was a good base to explore the rest of west crete. We ate outside of old town a couple of nights and found a surprisingly good mexican restaurant a couple of blocks down. It was nice to have a dip in the pool at the end of a hot day, and you get the view of the mountains from it. Supermarket and bakery close by, good aircon, large terrace and excellent shower. All very well kept and clean.

Cons: We all found the mattresses firm for our taste, but that could be easily remedied by a topper.

A luxury apartment in a good location about 15-25 minutes' walk to the centre

Pros: It is a very comfortable and clean apartment. It was well equipped. The balcony is very large and the street is residential and peaceful. Niki was very helpful especially with showing us how the many gadgets and equipment worked. She lives in the building and was always happy to help out promptly. The bathroom and shower are fantastic, among the best we've ever come across

Cons: I thought that the pool was going to be big enough for a proper swim, but unfortunately it is very small, more of a plunge pool. This would probably be fine for small children and there is a small area with sunbeds.

Fabulous accommodation and fantastic host

Pros: It was in a residential area within a 20 minute walking distance from centre

Cons: If you like a hard bed then great.

Pros: The appartment was very clean and bigger than i expected(We were with 6 big guys from the Netherlands). Also the owner of the appartment was very helpful with, for example, recommending restaurants, beaches and villages. All in all we had a great time and i would recommend the appartment to others.

Pros: Hyggelig vertskap, flott hus, fin leilighet med alle fasiliteter. Flott basseng på taket.

Pros: Fin og sentral leilighet i Chania. Ligger i et stille og rolig område med lite støy. Flott basseng på toppen og en stor fin balkong. Eieren av leiligheten var også veldig behjelpelig med alle våre spørsmål. Leiligheten var også godt utstyrt med det meste av kjøkkenartikler, slik at det var mulig å lage mat der, hvis man ønsker det.

Cons: Litt harde senger.
