Rita House in Old Town

Pros: Staying in Rita House Chania is an adventure of its own. Nestled just seconds from the Kastelli and numerous archaeological sites in the middle of the Old Town part of Chania, the property itself embodies change through time in its very fabric and quirkiness. It's super close to the Venetian Harbour, just a short walk to the central bus station and many of the best tavernas are virtually at your doorstep. So it's perfectly located for exploring locally and as a base for day trips further afield. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the air conditioning was great. I loved the ambient sounds of people enjoying their evenings and the church bells in the morning. But they're easily blocked out by closing the windows and drapes. It was such fun having four levels and I quickly became accustomed to the spiral staircase. Just be careful if you have a few rakis under your belt. In that regard, the terrace is ideal for a late afternoon brew with some pistachios and olives.

Excellently location

Pros: Excellent location. Lovely clean apartment. Had everything we needed.

Cons: Stairs were a bit steep. Ok for us but could be a bit challenging for some people.

Pros: Perfect location for city break. Middle of old town, payd by bit night noise from restaurants around. Possible problem with parking. Access to shower and second toilet is from roof open terrace. No problem alone, but you must use monkey and thini stairs to get on the terrace. House is nicely equipped and has a good look. All you need is there. I have no problem visiting again and probably will in the future. Definitely recommend!!!

I would recommend this sweet little house

Pros: Fantastic location. A very cute little town house. Makes you feel like being a local ,right in the middle of the best part town.

Cons: Nothing.

Perfect for the Agile

Pros: The town house is in a quiet alleyway located in the old town, perfect for ambling through the streets and down to the water front. Good quality WiFi Kitchen on ground floor, nice sitting area on first floor, spacious bedroom on second floor, and lovely roof top area for sitting in the evening and drying clothes and towels. The apartment is easy to find via Google maps. Just be aware that you turn down a narrow alley.

Cons: Stairs: the spiral staircase is steep and the toilet is on the ground floor, so coming down in the middle of the night is not the best. Toilet/Shower (ground floor): think of a campervan cubicle. It's about the same size. A hand held shower hose. The townhouse would not be suitable for those who are overweight or who have mobility problems.

Wonderful stay - definitely recommend.

Pros: YES, there are stairs. But how else do you get a 4 level townhouse in the middle of the old town all to yourself?!?! (ground floor) VERY well equipped kitchen and handy to have a half bathroom down there, (1st floor) living room internet was fast and strong, (2nd floor) bedroom was comfortable, and then (3rd floor) patio was glorious for reading and coffee/wine at all times of day. The 3rd floor main bathroom shower had great water pressure, very comfortable. One touch I appreciated was screens on windows (living room & bedroom) - for when you want fresh air, but not the flies!

Cons: As many have mentioned, the steep spiral stairs will make it challenging for some. Also, needing to climb a flight of stairs and go semi-outside but still mostly private (4 steps) on the patio to get to the bathroom is not ideal.... but now you know - bring a robe to grab in the night if you feel it necessary. The couch in the living room is a day bed, which will be great for traveling families in need of more than 1 bed. However it makes a VERY deep and relatively uncomfortable couch, and the springs are ridiculously squeaky LOUD.

Pros: Υπήρχε άνεση χώρου. Πολύ καλή η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος.

Cons: Δεν ήταν ξεκάθαρο στην περιγραφή του καταλύματος πως είναι σε τέσσερα επιπεδα και πως η βασική τουαλέτα είναι στο μπαλκόνι.

Pros: Άνετο διαμέρισμα , πολύ όμορφα διαμορφωμένο στην καρδιά της πόλης !

Superbe séjour dans le centre historique de la Canée

Pros: Maison de ville authentique dans le centre de la Canée, très bien située !! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié séjourner ici, à proximité des commerces, animations, du port, et seulement 20mn à pied de la plage.

Cons: Il faut être motivé pour déjeuner sur la terrasse, car la cuisine est au rez-de-chaussée et la terrasse est au 3ème étage. Personnes âgées ou à mobilité réduite, s'abstenir.

Ursprünglich & charmant

Pros: Die Lage war großartig-zentral, versteckt in einer kleinen Gasse mitten in der Altstadt-Haus hatte sehr viel Charme. Die Verteilung der Räume auf 4 Ebenen verbunden mit schmalen Treppen war zunächst sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber konnte mich organisieren.

Cons: Im oberen Bad wäre ein Haken für Handtuch und mehr Ablagefläche für Toilettenartikel hilfreich gewesen.
