Chrysa Apartments

This Chrysa aparment is highly recommended as a base for exploring the quieter side of Chania.

Pros: The apartment was immaculate with basic facilities for making tea and coffee. The main door is just a few metres from the Koum Kapi beaches and seafront. Most mornings we had breakfast at the local tavernas. The food and coffee was great, with a wide range of restaurants to choose from. The swimming was superb, with lots of fish to spot. Best of all, we'd chosen the apartment with a large patio for off-beach sunbathing, snacks and relaxation. From the apartment, it's about a 30 minute walk to the Venetian Port and Old Town. The route is safe and scenic with plenty of tavernas along the way.

Cons: We liked everything about the apartment. The location was perfect for access to relatively quiet beaches and the scenic walk into the Venetian Port and Old Town. The views from the apartment weren't great, but there was so much to do we didn't have time to sit looking out of the windows.

Pros: The location is so good to visit the old city, it’s very beginning of the picturesque embankment with lots of good restaurants! We could park a car nearby (you shouldn’t look at the forbidden signs, they are not active). We had a big terrace with a very partial sea view. In the apartment you get a coffee machine, capsules are provided. It’s a very good place to stay for two or more nights if you want to visit Hania and nearby aria and travel by car.

Pros: Great location with lots of places to eat nearby, easy to get around, clean and comfortable space for two, and the host was very responsive.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Easy checking, great staff, clean, great balcony and a great location away from the main tourist area. And a lovely little beach just outside the building.

Cons: The only thing was the bright night light on the inside of the entry door. As a result the room was lighter than we would have preferred.

Absolutely loved it, the hosts were very responsive (less than 30 mins wait) and very helpful with recommendations.

Pros: Great amount of space for two people! And I loved the bathroom layout, shower sink and toilet separated. The balcony had the most gorgeous view of the sea.

Cons: The key lock was very difficult to use because of the plastic keycard attached to the keys.

Pros: Apartment is beautifully located right next to the beach. There are many restaurants and shops around. Apartment is well equipped (including beach towels and umbrella) and very clean. We were extra surprised with getting clean towels in the middle of our stay. Host was very helpful and answer questions quickly via chat. There was no issue with later check out as we had a late flight back to the country which we really appreciated. Really recommended!

Wonderful Chania deserves a nice accommodation…

Pros: Wonderful K2 apartment, clean and comfortable. Basically in the room you have all you need to enjoy your stay. Huge terrace with partial sea view. Quiet neighborhood where you can dive in the sea which is literally 20 steps away from the building. The Venetian port is 5 minutes walking distance. The owner is very keen to make you stay as good as it can be and always to solve your queries. I’d definitely recommend this stay.
