Giovanni City House near Chania City Center

Pros: The apartment was spacious and clean. Located close to the Chania centre, 10min walk from the restaurants etc. A very well maintained place, perfect for a large group of friends. 100% recommend

Pros: The apartment was in a quiet area, and depending on how fast you walk, it can take from 10- 20 minutes to the centre of Chania. Everything you could possibly need was in the apartment. It has 3 double rooms, one en-suite, the main bathroom had a very large bath. There was a gift of raki & jam in the fridge. The balcony wrapped around the whole apartment with several places to sit & relax. We did not meet the owners, which was a pity, as we would have loved the opportunity to thank them personally for providing such a beautiful, comfortable home from home.The photos do not do the place justice, nor do they reflect how lovely & comfortable the place is. If you have children, you will find , volley ball, beach ball, buckets & spades for the beach to add to the children's enjoyment. A big thumbs up all around. We are now heading along the coast to a little place called Bali. It is good well worth a visit also.

Cons: There is nothing to not like. It will definitely be our go-to place if we return to Bali.

Great sized apartment with parking. Close to old town chania

Excellent spacious apartment within walking distance to everything there is to do in Chania.

Pros: The apartment was exceptionally clean. It is very spacious. The living area is plenty big enough to accommodate all guests. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning is effective. The balcony area around 3 sides of the apartment means that it is possible to catch the sun at many times of the day. The apartment is in a very good location. A small store on the corner, 10 minutes walk to a good size local supermarket or just over 25 minutes walk in the opposite direction to Lidl and another large supermarket. 15 mins walk into the main town where there are lots of excellent places to eat. From there it is a short walk to the Venetian harbour. A beach is also within a short 15 minute walk. There is a modern TV in each bedroom and in the living area. There was no shortage of hot water. Good to have a washing machine.

Cons: The shower facility could be improved. The shower in the en-suite is very small and there is no curtain around the one above the bath. A dish washer would also be a useful addition. The sofa in the living area isn’t particularly comfortable when relaxing in the evenings.

Great stay, great host, very responsive. Recommand 100%

Pros: Everything was great, very well equipped place, very clean, the most comfortable beds and pillows.

Cons: Nothing particular, the construction on the road and noise from them but that had nothing to do with the property

Perfect stay în Crețe

Pros: Everything was perfect. There is nothing we would need and could not find in this huge apartment. The distance to city center is around 10 min walking, we did it almost every evening (with 3 kids :)). If we consider to have another holiday in Crete we will book for sure Giovanni City House.

Amazing Greek style stay

Pros: It was very spacious and tidy. We very much enjoyed that the beach was 15 minute walk away so it was very accessible foot. The rooms very all had AC units in which was useful in the Greek heat.

Cons: We like our stay there wasn't anything we did not enjoy. Maybe having a change set of towels would have been nice if you want to take it to the beach. Nothing else was really everything was great.

Pros: Very good apartment at a good location close to the old town. Everything was clean and the host was helpful

Family stay

Pros: The appartment was very big. Enough room for 4 persons. Every room has a television that works with Netflix, Youtube. There were also 2 bathrooms. It was easy to enter. There was also a bath. There is a mini market close and some cafes close. Every room has airconditioning and enough closets to place your clothes. There was also a washing machine.

Cons: The warm water is limited. So you can not take multiple baths. It was quite far from the centre and the sea, think 20 min walking. Taxi cost like 7 euros. Giovanni gave us good recommendations for a place to eat Greek food and for a place to have brunch.
