Alsalos Sea View Apartment

Apartment was a pleasant surprise on entry

Pros: short walk to the old town, elevator so we did not struggle with heavy luggage, huge balcony had everything you needed for a pleasant stay plus little bits of extras

Cons: The apartment was housed in a residential building, from the outside it was shabby and in need of painting, the entrance hall was also in need of refurbishment

Excellent place for a holiday in Chania

Pros: Excellent appartment for two person. Great location and beautiful sea views from the large balcony. Cooling in both the living room and bedroom. Snacks and some drinks ready for guests.

Perfect stay for those on long trips!

Pros: Fully stocked with EVERYTHING you could ask for on holiday. Washing machine, plenty of cutlery, free biscuits and fruit on arrival, comfy bed, smart TV, big balcony. It was perfect.

Great apartment and location

Pros: Great host and location. Apartment very clean, modern and had all kitchen essentials you needed. Welcome gift of wine and water, olive oil and homemade biscuits = nice touch 😀. Harbour was a nice walk 5/10 minutes away and Neo Chora beach 5 minute walk in other direction. Well stocked good value chain SYN.KA supermarket 3 mins walk from apartment. Great place for a relaxing holiday, nice balcony with views (sunset photo attached) and fab aircon. Host very helpfull via Whatsapp during our stay and booked taxi to airport for us. Great base to explore Chania. 🌞

Perfect location to see Chania.

Pros: Perfect location only 5 min. to the old Chania. The welcome basket with many goodies, fresh eggs was waiting for us even when we left the owners came with gifts and home made cake. If you have a car is very easy to find a space.

Cons: Only thinks is that the view is obscured by electric pole and public swimming pool. There is a new constructions just next to the building so some days you can hear the noise.

Comfortable and convenient place to hang out by the sea!

Pros: The location was excellent. It is nestled in a quiet residential area, across the street from an Olympic pool , and short walks to Nea Chora Beach, the old port, a supermarket and many good restaurants. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge and blender View of the sea from a large balcony. Very spacious and comfortable for 19 days.

Cons: Waiting for the water to heat up for a shower, but it's worth the wait.

Friendly and respectful, great place to stay in Chania/Nea Hora.

Pros: Close to old town, close to the beach, quiet area, very spacious and clean, great amenities and super responsive host.

Pros: We stayed here for three weeks and we had the best time. It was our honeymoon, and George went above and beyond to welcome us to the apartment. There were roses, snacks, and drinks. Whatever we asked for or about, George made sure we got it, plus some surprises along the way. It's a shirt walk to the beach and to the Old town. There are two minimarkets nearby and you have to go to the restaurant Fama next door. We felt right at home with the whole atmosphere and the kindness of everyone we met Thank you so much.

Pros: The location of the apartment is fantastic. You are never more than a few minutes walk to the beach, mini market, ATM, pharmacy, or a whole host of restaurants serving delicious food. You are also only a 10 minute walk to Chania town. The apartment itself is clean, extremely comfortable, has all of the mod cons you could wish for, and has a spacious balcony to chill out on in the evenings. The host was attentive and was always available to answer any enquiries. We also received a complimentary cake and some drinks which was a very thoughtful touch. Please note that it can get a little noisy at night, but this is typical in the holiday season and the apartment has adequate sound proofing. We never felt uncomfortable during our stay and we would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Chania.
