Awesome and memorable

Pros: Our stay by the beach was truly unforgettable, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Maria and her family. Their genuine warmth and kindness turned our holiday into one of the most cherished vacations we've ever experienced. The memory of enjoying fresh figs straight from the farm still lingers, as does Maria’s thoughtful help in arranging a birthday cake for my wife. These personal touches made all the difference. Heartfelt thanks for making us feel so welcome!

Nice apartment by the sea

Pros: The location is perfect—just a three-minute walk from the bus stop by the sea. The beach is always uncrowded; in the morning, there was no one but us, which I consider a huge plus. Sunbeds are also available. The sea is beautiful, though the weather can be quite changeable—but even with waves, it’s still swimmable. The food deserves special mention—it’s delicious, no worse than in nearby restaurants, and perhaps even better. A special thanks to Maria for her help and kindness. I definitely recommend this place!

Cons: We had internet problems in our room, but it worked fine in other areas. That was almost the only drawback, though.

A little piece of paradise, hosted by people with hearts of gold!

Pros: We had an unforgettable stay at Baladinos, a true gem just steps away from the sea. Kostas and Maria are incredibly kind, genuinely warm, and deeply committed individuals who welcome you as if you were part of their family. Their hospitality, delicious homemade cooking, spotless cleanliness, and the peaceful atmosphere make this place much more than just accommodation: it’s a heartfelt experience in a dreamy setting. Thank you for everything! We leave with precious memories and only one wish: to come back soon!

Best location for a family right at a natural peaceful beach.

Pros: Loved the location. The hospitality. The food, omg the food was amazing. The cleaning ladies did an amazing job. Maria and Kostas are the best hosts.

Cons: It was a little bummer that they where renovating. But made it possible to have dinner anyways. Dinner and breakfast with the best local and homemade food made up for it.

Pros: We are absolutely delighted with the Baladinous apartments. The host is very welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations. The breakfasts are delicious, and the location is right on the beachfront: sunbeds, a SUP board, umbrellas. You can also get an umbrella and beach towels. Yes, the shower cabin is not very spacious, but everything else is simply wonderful! We will definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again.

The dream beach house I will probably never have 🙂

Pros: Even if the expectations were a bit high after reading the reviews and viewing the pictures, I cannot forget how I felt when I actually got there. I was overwhelmed by the natural beauty of the place and I felt very lucky to have discovered this gem. I don't know if any review or picture could actually describe how you feel there. And then it got better, every day. Everything was perfect: the beach, the bar, the food, and especially the people there. And the slow blues, of course 🙂. I cannot imagine I would stay anywhere else if I come back to Crete.
